The Person

 

The Business Development Executive will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle.

 

You are an ambitious person who takes ownership and responsibility for your actions and works to an exceptional high standard. We foster an entrepreneurial driven environment. Therefore, you will able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and autonomously and get results.

 

You are sharp and attentive with the ability to manage time effectively and decipher between a paying client and a non-paying one. Resilience is what you fall back on, when times are tough, and you are able to prove so.

 

You will be confident with building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones. It is not necessary to be from a Real Estate / Property background, however previous new business generation experience is essential with proven with track record and sound knowledge of SMEs B2B2B + B2B and B2C.

The Role

  • Generate new retained client business for the London and greater area of the UK market with Monthly Sales Results.
  • Establish new contacts and relationships with potential clients. This will include targeting new accounts and lead follow up provided by the company.
  • Research and develop a list of new business target prospects and develop solid, strategic relationships with key decisions makers (MD, CEO, Acquisition Director).
  • Implement a portfolio management and business development plan, resulting in increased revenue and a growing client base: channel & corporate.
  • Coordinate business efforts with the marketing team to qualify and convert appropriate leads into future accounts.
  • Develop and execute retainer account management plans for assigned clients with the goal of increasing client revenue and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  • Tracking metrics to ensure targets are met.
  • Know your numbers and what you will close at a minimum every month.
  • Manage the sales and revenue pipeline closely with the finance team.

Experience & Skills

  • A minimum of 2 years sales experience within the UK market is essential.
  • Complex problem solver. You grow and excel by thinking outside of the box and executing to overcome challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & spoken). This is imperative.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation experience and skills are key.
  • IT Literate, MS office suite, CRM and supporting software packages.
  • Direct sales skills and a proven track record of performance.
  • Results-driven focus with analytical capability.
  • Ability to innovate and simplify current processes and practices.
  • Managing a sales pipeline, tracking prospects and leads to conversion.
  • Contributing to our overall business strategy and identify potential growth areas.
  • Ability to interact with Social Media accounts like Facebook and Instagram.
  • Support Business by expanding brand and customer awareness and also supporting all aspects Marketing Activities (including digital marketing).
  • Customer relationship building with relevant decision makers, solution selling by assessing the clients’ needs, ensuring resolutions and helping to support business growth. Ensuring business relationships create an increase in revenue.
  • Ready to understand, respect and adhere to Data Protection and GDPR rules and Anti Money Laundering Legislation (AML) and be confident when explaining and requesting sensitive and discreet information from clients.
